Winter is almost over and it’s time to start thinking about summer!
Let’s bring everyone back together for a night of fun, food, drinks and a little bit of fundraising. Join us at Kaminski’s on Monday, March 6th from 7:00-9:00 PM.
This is a great opportunity to reconnect with members and to bring along friends who may be thinking of joining the club, so spread the word.
The event includes a dinner buffet and open bar (wine, domestic beer and well drinks).
Tickets are only $20 per person and can be purchased online using the link below.
Hope to see you all there!
Open to all. Food, drink, music and fun!
$20 per person or $45 per family.

Next Friday we plan to be open until 9:00, but our lifeguards have other plans tonight and we asked them too late.
President Gerry Aiken invites you to our 2nd Annual Cement Party
When: Fri May 10th @ 7pm
Where: The empty pool floor
Attire: Very Casual… preferably a homeless look.
Hey Dads and/or Moms, come on out and join the fun… We are going to
host a Pool Patching Party Fri, May 10th at 7pm until? We need to
patch the pool walls with cement and after having this job done by one
or two volunteers taking days out of their schedules the last few years
it was suggested we get it done in a few hours on a Fri night. All
this so we can go ahead and paint the pool on Sat, May 11th.
There will be a keg like container of an adult beverage on hand, plus
some pizzas. Music, horseshoes, cement, camaraderie and fun.
No need to RSVP, just show up and be ready for a good time. The only
thing you need to bring is a trowel or hands with rubber gloves. If
you have any portable work lights, please bring them.
Volunteers will be enlisted during this event to help with the pool
painting the next day.
There are just 47 days until the “real” start to summer — Opening Day at BFSC.
Our first Clean Up / Fix Up will be Saturday, April 20th from 8 AM-4 PM.
We’ll be joined by students and alumni of Saint Joseph’s University who are participating in Global Community Day.
Come help make the most of their help in tackling a number of projects.
We will be doing physical work including, but not limited to:
- Digging up, relocating and reinstalling a 14’ wide, 6’ high chain link gate.
- Preparing floors of changing rooms for painting.
- Raking and hauling leaves and sticks.
- Planting flower beds.
- Raking and spreading river pebbles.
- Painting parking lot lines.
- Cleaning and painting the shuffleboard court.
- Thoroughly cleaning the Snack Bar kitchen.
- Grinding off rust, priming and painting two lifeguard stands.
Don’t see the project you wanted to do? That’s okay — contact a Board Member to volunteer.
